Volunteer Recruitment & Training Coordinator
CASA for the Highland Lakes Area is seeking a full-time Volunteer Recruitment & Training Coordinator to help recruit, screen, train, and prepare community volunteers to advocate for children who have experienced abuse or neglect.
This position is based in Kingsland, Texas, with travel throughout our five-county service area of Burnet, Blanco, Llano, Lampasas, and San Saba Counties.
Position details
- Full-time, non-exempt
- Salary: $45,000-$48,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience
- Primarily daytime schedule, with occasional evening or weekend training sessions and community events

- Vacation, sick, and personal leave accrued monthly

- Cell phone stipend
- Mileage reimbursement for approved business travel at the current IRS standard mileage rate
About the Role
The Volunteer Recruitment & Training Coordinator will manage the volunteer process from initial interest through screening, pre-service training, onboarding, and readiness for case assignment. The position also supports continuing education, volunteer records, compliance, and recruitment-focused community outreach.
This role works closely with the Program Director, Advocate Supervisors, Development Director, and Executive Director.
